Hi, I'm Obayd...

A White British Muslim, who has “mysteriously” learnt how to speak Arabic.

In reality, it’s not such a mystery. But simply a cumulation of learning, practice and correction along the way.

Learning how to speak Arabic has added a layer of depth and meaning to my experience of Islam that I could’ve never imagined. I find it crazy how there’s billions of followers of Islam around the world, yet only a tiny fraction of them are able to speak the language of Islam. But when you look deeply into how people typically learn Arabic…it’s no surprise at all, but that disparity needs to change.

And that’s exactly why I would love to introduce you to…

If there’s one thing I learnt from teaching Arabic for nearly a decade and over 10,000 lessons it’s this:
